Darren was born and raised in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, IL. There he attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where he earned a B.S. in Biology. He then spent 20 years in the construction industry, 15 years as contractor/owner of DC Construction, a home renovation company specializing in high end kitchens, luxury baths and custom basements. Darren's exprience in the real estate industry began with investing and managing rental property and eventually led him to earn his real estate license in Illinois.
Darren always enjoyed visiting his family, Nancy and John Dattilo, who had moved to Huntsville Alabama in 1989. For years he was drawn to the beautiful, friendly city that served as a wonderfull place to go and enjoy the great outdoors. On one vsit Darren, his wife Lori, Aunt Nancy and Uncle John were talking in general about what a great place Huntsville is to live and raise a family. The light conversation turned to a serious discussion and Darren was quickly convinced that Alabama is where he and his family should be. He now resides in Huntsville with his wife Lori, and baby son Logan.
Darren currently holds real estate licenses in both Illinois and Alabama. He has teamed up with Nancy and John Dattilo who are amongst the first Keller Williams Realty agents/owners in the state of Alabama. As "The Dattilo Difference" team, Nancy and John are recipients of endless awards celebrating their accomplishments in the real estate industry. They are also credited as being the developers of the Twelve Stones Hampton Cove subdivision, The Preserve at Clayton Pond subdivision, and owners of Cardinal Custom Enterprises LLC. specializing in building custom luxury homes.
